After several months of the site being down I've restored it. Sorry for any inconvenience, but between the lack of feedback once it went down and the general disinterest from the community in continuing the role play it ended up boiling down to 'when I bothered to figure out how to fix it' which happened to be now.

Enjoy it while it's here, for I'm not sure how long I intend to keep it around regardless of it being fixed.

As some of you may have noticed, there has been a decline in activity from the staff. Our lives have become quite busy recently, and we've been struggling to keep up with our threads as well as the Halloween Town Event, despite the decline in players.

Other projects and responsibilities have entered our lives, and unfortunately, after considerable and lengthy debate, we have collectively decided that we will no longer be able to support KHE on top of our work and other offline duties. Thanks for the time we shared together these past few months, and good luck to you all in your future endeavors!

NOTE: This application and the post-canon histories attached to it are in keeping with the site-wide plot currently developing and unfolding. The intention is and has been to keep this character largely responsible for the returned bleakness, and largely in the dark as to how it came about.

Home World: Destiny Islands. Sora, Riku and Kairi live there. Lots of beaches. Paopu tree. Did you play the games?



Powers/Weapons/Abilities:

Sora does not remember that he has the ability to use magic and certain skills, however some of his abilities were committed to muscle memory and his body has not forgotten how to do them.

High Jump- When he jumps with force, he can jump five feet in the air. When he really puts his mind to it, he can jump up to eleven feet.

Glide- He would never try this, but he still retains this ability and may discover it by accident. He has the ability to glide like a hang glider or paper airplane. The height from which he jumps determines how far he can glide. If he jumps off a flight of stairs, he can’t go very far. If he jumps off a tall building, he can clear a few blocks.

Dash- Allows Sora to move very rapidly. Just like a sprinter, Sora can get worn out if he uses his over a long period of time.

Dodge Roll- ...pretty much what it says-

Sora still retains the ability to cast basic, elemental magic. Each spell depletes a percentage of his magical energy. Once depleted, magical-energy (MP) takes five rounds to recharge completely. If available, certain potions/ethers will also replenish MP.

Blizzard: Creates a beam of ice which can range about 25 feet. Depletes 16% Sora can use this spell in rapid fire.

Thunder: Calls down a single bolt of lightning. Depletes 30% MP. Once per post.

Aero: Creates a vortex of wind about him, acting as a shield against physical attacks. Sora takes ½ the normal damage. This spell lasts three posts. Depletes 38% MP

Curega: He has forgotten how to do this spell. Heals 90% of his HP. Depletes 50% MP

Firega: He has forgotten how to do this spell. Creates a ring of fire around him at a range of about 5 feet. Depletes 16% MP.

Drive Forms: Completely and totally forgotten. If ever relearned they would be:
Valor
Wisdom
Master
Final


These forms are made possible with the help of Donald and Goofy.

Attacks:

Sora works closely with his friends. Their strength is his strength. Their limits are his limits. A sort of “I’ll hold him and you punch” concept, if you will. This leaves a lot of room open for creativity, as Sora adapts to new situations and strengths. These I would like to leave open to development alongside fellow rpers as Sora makes friends and allies.

General notes:

One of Sora’s greatest assets is his speed. What he lacks in size and muscle, he makes up for in agility. His sheer willpower is a formidable strength on its own. However, he often demonstrates a lack of technique, barreling headlong into battle without taking a moment to strategize. This gets him into trouble.

Weapons/Items:

The pockets on Sora’s clothing, gifted to him by the three good fairies have the ability to hold more than the average pockets.

Sora wields the Keyblade, of course. A magical weapon with a wretched past. At the start of rp with KH Elite, Sora is equipped with no keychains except Oathkeeper and Oblivion which he has no memory of receiving. As he continues on his journey, he may collect more and they may give his Keyblade different properties.

Oathkeeper: Boosts Sora’s strength and has a longer reach than Kingdom Key.  Mostly acts as a moral strength though, as it serves as a reminder of his promise to Kairi.

Oblivion: Boosts Sora’s strength similarly and reminds Sora that both Light and Dark are needed to live in balance and harmony.

He is able to summon the Keyblade at will, however, it has been known to appear in his hand, without being summoned if there is a task to be done.

Appearance:

People often say that Sora is practically defined by his unnaturally spiky (see: gravity defying), chocolate brown hair, but it just isn't true.

He has a boyish face, a small nose, and an easy going smile...and even these things are not as defining as Sora's eyes: for Sora’s eyes are blue.

No, not a dark grey masquerading as blue, nor a watery, sky-blue, but a true, dark cerulean that can only be seen by staring into the shallow part of an ocean on a perfectly clear day. They blaze brightly, full of the light in his heart, reflecting unending optimism and unshakable confidence. One look into those eyes and one knows that there is still good in the worlds. Unfortunately, because they tend reflect everything in his mind and heart, Sora has never been much good at the art of lying. He is an open book (and an easy read at that).

His honey-brown skin speaks of long days in the tropical, island sun, swimming and surfing and sparring. He is lean, but strong from countless battles against the Heartless and the Organization. Of course, it was a bit of a shock for him to wake up after his slumber in Namine’s care, being several inches taller and his voice considerably deeper than it had been before, but he soon adapted. Though swiftly approaching adulthood, Sora still retains some of the softness of childhood in his face, and of course still clings fast to his youthful enthusiasm for life.

Sora’s clothes were gifts from three Good Fairies, consisting of loose, black pants, cropped just below his knees, fitted with large red pockets for various potions and items. Yellow straps and buckles loop and criss-cross his lower half, securing his pockets (and providing visual impact. The fairies were not above aesthetics). Having always been fond of the primary colors, Sora was glad to have a least some yellow on his personage. His black half-jacket was worn over a navy, sleeveless top, accented with more red pockets. Black gloves and, large, comfortable sneakers finished the outfit. And, of course, Sora never was never fully dressed without his silver crown-pendant secured about his neck by a chain.

It should be noted that Sora does not use gel or hair products beyond whatever soaps or shampoos are available on different Worlds. His hair is naturally gravity-defying and will maintain its shape even after being waterlogged (see: KH II finale cutscene). Though it looks spiky, it is actually quite soft.


Personality:

Eternally positive, Sora is always ready with a smile and an encouraging word. He does not merely believe in the Light, following its bright beams where they may lead, but, in fact, IS Light, shedding it where he walks. The heart of the worlds respond to him, calling him for help and the help of his keyblade.

His strength comes from his ability to make friends. He has a keen sense of justice, never hesitating for a moment to help someone in need. Because of his outgoing, friendly nature, people are naturally drawn to him, and because of his desire to help those around him, people can’t help but love him.

Sora has a competitive spirit and plenty of teenage cockiness that could easily spell trouble if it were not for his uncanny ability to meet and defeat all challenges thrown his way. He never believes for one second that he will lose, and because of that…he doesn’t.

Of course, he makes mistakes as often as the next person (perhaps more), and there are days when he feels acute pain and sadness, but he is never alone to wallow in misery and bounces back quickly with an easy smile on his face and a new adventure on the horizon.

Sora can also be ruthless. His sense of justice does not allow much room for the grey nuances of right and wrong. In his eyes, you are a friend until proven an enemy, but once proven an enemy, he will not hesitate to attack with ferocity.

Sora can be slow to pick up on subtle words, hints, or clues. This is mainly because of his naive trust in the goodness of people. Because he is truthful, he assumes everyone he meets will be just as truthful as he is. He is therefore susceptible to manipulation and deceit. This may lead others to believe that he is not an intelligent person, however this is a mistake. Sora is very intelligent emotionally, understanding what the heart wants and how to follow it, and he is a remarkably good problem-solver, able to take on many challenges without so much as a decent map to guide him. He has good instincts and trusts himself enough to follow them.

History:

Sora was helping people even before he was able to walk and talk. The light of his newborn heart went out to Ven, at the hour of his need, healing the great crack in his soul. Though he could not have known it, he was destined to meet this boy again. He grew up on Destiny Islands, with his best friend, Riku, whom he spent every moment possible with, playing on the beach, in the sand, and in the waves. He learned to swim and build fantastic sandcastles. At four, he met a stranger, a female warrior in blue, who told him to look after Riku. He took this straight to heart and he has done so to the best of his ability ever since. During this same year, he felt Ven's sadness in his heart. It called out to him across the stars and brought tears to his eyes, though he could not understand why. On Riku's suggestion, Sora reached out to him and answered the call. He accepted Ven into his heart to heal his hurts, without question.

Later, Kairi entered his life and all of a sudden the World seemed brighter. With Riku and Kairi at his side, Sora was truly living in paradise. He a perfect childhood. Two best friends, loving parents, a World which was warm and nurturing, and no poverty or wars to speak of. He learned the important things like, how to fish with his bare hands, how to swim like a frog, how to tie a good knot, and how to navigate by the stars. At 14, he began to have strange dreams, foreshadowing his adventures to come. Monsters and swords and shields and fate haunted his thoughts.

It was not long before World was soon torn apart by the Heartless. In one terrorizing moment, he lost his friends, his home, and his island. In the process he discovered he had the ability to wield a mysterious weapon known as the Keyblade. He tried to rescue Kairi. He tried to take Riku's proffered hand. But all was swept away into the abyss.

He found himself in Traverse town, where he met Donald and Goofy, soon to be his companions as he traveled the worlds, determined to find his friends and set thing right. They visited Worlds...but visiting wasn't enough. When Sora saw injustice being done to Alice in Wonderland, he could not just stand back and watch. He had to help.

Sora went on many an adventure, solving riddles, saving friends, defeating enemies, and striking his own heart to release Kairi, who had been hidden inside his own heart the entire time. This caused a Nobody, Roxas, to be created, as well as Namine. Kairi was able to save Sora with the power of her light and love. Of course, it wasn't over yet. Sora was forced to leave her on Destiny Islands, in order to find Riku and later save the Worlds again. He took a detour at Castle Oblivion, where his memories were taken apart one by one, and then chained back together again by a witch Namine. He was put to sleep for an entire year. When he awoke, his body had grown, but his memories were fewer, his time at Castle Oblivion being wiped away clean. He continued his search for his friends, while unraveling new riddles and problems to solve. Eventually, he was finally reunited with Riku and Kairi, returning to his island safely, with his Nobody in tow, Roxas.

But it still wasn't over. Sora received a message from the King calling him back into battle, back into the Worlds, back into his destiny to bring an end to the sadness echoing over the bitter years.

So off he went with Riku to take his Mark of Mastery Exam. But truth to tell, Sora had never been terribly interested in titles or names that were not his own. It is interesting to note that Sora never did introduce himself as the Keyblade Master, nor did he even use the words "my name is..." for his name is so firmly stitched to his identity, it IS him. He says with certainty "I am Sora." Because who he is has nothing to do with his ability to wield a legendary weapon.

He failed the exam, but he learned some important lessons and met some important people connected to his heart. It became his goal to help Namine, Xion, Roxas, Aqua, Ven, and Terra and make their sadness stop. He pursued it with ferocity and ultimately reached his goal and defeated Xehanort once and for all. Still he was not satisfied. The more he understood about Nobodies, the more he wanted to solve the problem. The more he sought to solve their plight, the more obstacles stood in his way. He began having bad dreams. He dreamed a thousand voices cried out to him in the dark, pleading, begging, dying for answers and salvation. Salvation he didn't know how to give. For he could travel the stars forever and never reach an end. It was a task too big for anyone. There had to be a better way.

He was offered a better way. A certain society approached him. They were a group of anarchists who used their hearts to form a door. They only needed Sora to use his Keyblade on this door and lock all Worlds from Darkness forever. Or so they said. Sora was eager to try. But it had quite the opposite effect.

All doors were unlocked to the Darkness. Heartless once again flooded the universe. All those present for the unlocking were wiped clean of their memories; a blank slate. The society members had offered their hearts to the darkness and so had sacrificed their identities. Sora had offered his part in this game too and lost everything except his weapon and his name.

He fell into the abyss and landed in Ciel, the peaceful land guarded by light. Here his adventure in Kingdom Hearts elite begins.

Sora’s parents had been normal; Two human beings with human aspirations, with warm, human blood flowing through their veins. Sora had never been exposed to Mako poisoning. He was not superhuman. He carried no impressive, six-foot long weapon. He had not been trained or bred for the art of heroism. In fact, he had not been trained for anything at all. He did not know the subtle walk of the hunter, or the dangerous art of warfare. He did not read from books to define and understand himself (he never wondered). He did not understand the wickedness of wordplay and deceit (he never tried).

Sora was a boy who grew up in nature’s lap of luxury, with simple wants, simple desires, and a simple understanding of how the world worked. He believed in his friends and the Light they carried within.

In essence, he was everything that Genesis and Sephiroth were not.

But there was more than that.

There was magic. There were forces of Light and Dark that had chosen him to carry the most powerful weapon of all: The Keyblade. There was a powerful Heart beating within his chest that responded to every other beating Heart he came across. In turn, the Heart of all things responded to him, quiet and subtle, or loud and abrasive, they responded. It would not have taken Sephiroth's unique gifts of perception to feel his presence.

The Worlds knew him as a hero.

And what was a hero? Who could define one? Was it a simple measurement of impressive actions weighed against the stakes and awarded as a merit? Was it merely an accidental title assigned by the writers of history? Was it a mark of status to separate one powerful man from the next?

Without the Keyblade, Sora was merely a boy with a keen sense of justice, and a deep-rooted desire to help people. Yet…it would not have altered his actions in the slightest. Without it, he would have fought on, searching, doing everything in his power to find those he loved. The skills and powers acquired were incidental: they were likely to develop without any sort of divine intervention anyway. Thusly, the Keyblade was also incidental. It did not shape who he was. It did not transform him into a hero. It was him; a definition for what he stood for, and a powerful tool to help him achieve his goals. His acceptance of his task, further sealed his fate.

The Worlds knew him as a hero because, that was what he was and would always be, so long as he continued to roam the stars.

Now he stood, somewhere between deciding to get something to eat for lunch, and going to visit Leon. As luck would have it, he looked up. Two shadowy figures perched atop the clock tower. Odd. He looked back down. Aerith and Leon sprinting for the entrance. Even odder.

Fortune had always been kind to Sora. He had always been one of Her favorites. It was even said that Lady Luck would actually break her dates with others just to come be with him at the right moment. She must have been there now, as his cerulean eyes took in the sight and made the connections. There was trouble.

Without a second thought, the boy ran after them, unhindered by injuries, strong and ready to help face whatever problem had arisen.

Something is stirring in Halloween Town! On Halloween, October 31st, KHE will be holding a new Plot Event hosted by our very own pumpkin king! But he needs something from you!

No. Objects do not need to be on the person currently because memories of an object can hold just as much power over a person as the physical object does itself.

The Kingdom Hearts Elite Staff is in search of a profile moderator, someone who can check profiles, give appropriate critiques and feedback, and do general maintenance in the Application Board. Right now this is a temporary position, but may become full time if you like doing it and you're awesome at it.

Traverse Town / A Brief History of Traverse Town

Traverse Town is unique to all other worlds in the Kingdom Hearts Universe. It is built upon the fragments of lost hearts, of worlds fallen to darkness, and as such, has become the general hub world for these scattered refugees.

It was first created shortly after Xehanort began his heartless experiments in Radiant Garden, following the events of Birth By Sleep. Unleashing the heartless invasion upon the worlds, Traverse Town came into being as these worlds fell one by one to darkness. There it hung in the night sky, one new star when so many others were fading out, its light shining brighter and brighter with each world heart that became devoured.

For eight years it served as home to the refugees who survived their world's collapse, until Sora defeated Ansem, Seeker of Darkness and closed the Door to Darkness. As the worlds were restored, Traverse Town ceased to be, and each person was returned to their original home world.

Three years later, when Sora unleashed Pandora's Box and brought darkness and the heartless back to the worlds, Traverse Town has returned, once more providing a place of refuge for the survivors of their world's collapse. For six months it has been growing as more and more worlds fall to darkness, and is larger than it has ever been before. All six districts have become accessible, from 0-5, but who knows how many more districts Traverse Town may hold…

General Information:

Canon/Original Character: Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days, Kingdom Hearts 2
  • Name:Lurod is his actual name, but he also goes by Luxord. Honestly he'll probably refer to himself as both indiscriminately.
  • Age: 34
  • Gender: Male
  • Race: Human
  • Alignment: neutral neutral
Home World: Port Royal- Ah home. It is a place of little formalities and of drunkards on one side, and pompous British of the East Empire Company on the other.The drunkards let's just say they are not the type of crowd you would wish to be around. They are known as pirates, and though their life-style is to put it bluntly a life of squabble even they adhere to their own social codes and contract. Though on that thought not all drunkards are pirates, ven though the two match almost perfectly. The East Empire Company on the other hand, well let's just say, coin is the only voice they listen to.

Sadly it seems nowadays in the Ports that the Company has most of the control. Pity. Perhaps a change of rule is in order. Perhaps those that I called friends could be the new change in order coming.

Powers/Weapons/Abilities:

His weapon of choice are out of all the things playing cards, which he uses with magic for deadly affects. The cards themselves show the nobody emblem on one side at all times, though the opposite side varies. Sometimes it's a distorted clock others it's blank or even an X or O.

Card Wall- Lurod throws up a large card that can work just as well as any shield would. This is basically his special way of blocking.

Card Swipe- Basically using magic he creates giant cards which he attaches to his hands, with magic and he can use like a blade or a mace depending. (This basically acts as his basic attack)

Flurry of the Draw- Lurod magically shoots out multiple cards that upon impact is comparable to small knives being thrown at you but it's a lot of them, and they all come so fast. But also works pretty good as a knockback.

"A Challenge you say"- Lurod freezes the battle for a moment as 4 giant cards appear behind him, it showing either an X or an O. It is a game of luck at that point and if the cards end in his favor his shoots out multiple cards that are comparable to larger knives, small swords swiping at his opponent. Losing will cause him to open up for a free attack on him. How this will work in RP I would say would be a mutual agreement between me and whoever I may be RPing with to just use a randomizer 1-2 the cards flip in my favor 2-4 not really.

Summon Cards- Lurod Summons multiple giant cards that work for him and will try to attack his opponents. They can be destroyed and there attacks act like a normal sword.

"Look Closer"- Lurod sinks into the ground summoning multiple cards, some of which if destroyed will cause the slow effect to be cast upon the opponent. Though one card hides Lurod, who can be knocked out of the card.

Limit Break: A Dance of Decks and Time- Can only be used when Lurod is on his last strings. Basically at this point he summons multiple cards that coat the ground of a given area at which point he sinks down and can indiscriminately pop out of any of the cards to attack before sinking back in. As well some of the cards will act on their own trying to attack his opponent. This lasts a post.

Haste- He uses time magic to speed up his actions and his reactions.

Slow- Basically the opposite of haste. He uses this on an opponent to slow them down and lower the reaction times.

Appearance:

Lurod is a middle-aged man with blond short hair and a Van Dyke beard/mustache which is also blonde. He has blue eyes and on both of his ears he has two helix piercings and on his right ear he has an additional piercing on his lobe. He is about 5'6" weighing at around I would say 150-70. He is also Caucasian.

As for attire, well Lurod was never known for his fashion sense as he never really cares much for it. Nowadays he tends to still done his Organization coat mostly for the protection it offers, but he can also be found in the casual attire of baggy baige pants and a white button down shirt, baggy of course. The organization cloak is your typical black cloak with a large zipper and nice matching black gloves and boots. Quaint

Personality:

Some organization members were all in it for the power, some weren't even really in it to begin with, and then there is Luxord. Luxord was always relaxed he did his job and he did it well, but he did it like any ordinary man would do there job in our world. He was never in it for the power there was no underlying hatred for the jobs he did.

He was always so nonchalant, with just about everything. This is very much how he was before he was a nobody as well. In some cases being a nobody really changed the person look at Xaldin for example, but Lurod when he joined the org he was just about the same as he was before. He just saw it as his new job.

As well another defining trait of Lurod is the fact of how much he puts on chance. What should be done about something? Let's see what lady luck and the roll of the dice has to say. With almost everything he does, he perceives lady luck as the sole-decider in a lot of cases.

Also on the topic of Lurod's perception he is pretty darn smart, as casual as he may act, and oh boy does he act casual. He treats his missions as games, but always seems to have a sense of what's going on. Heck his casuality can even be seen when he fights Sora. Instead of going on with a monologue  for an hour he just says "I'd rather we just skip the formalities." Like he could care less.

Also Lurod is pretty, what is the word ah, elegant with his speaking. He has a large vocabulary and likes to use it. It hsould also be noted he has a small British accent when he talks.

History:

Lurod started his life on a strange world known as Port Royal. A lot of his early child hood is lost to history though that is probably for the better as his childhood was probably not one he would wish to remember. His parents though were not really the best and as such left Lurod as a vagabond child.

During this time of his life he wondered trying to find any jobs he could. Though one of his favored jobs was just being a trickster. He knew how to manipulate a deck of cards, and he would make bets for people to guess any assorted things where he would use his sleight of hands to generally end up the one in favor and the one making the money. This earned him a few enemies not a lot, but enough for him to learn a larger assortment of tricks.

Sometime during his teen years he managed to pick up some jobs with the East Empire Company where he was educated and made a living for himself. Around his early to mid 20s, Lurod was betrayed by the company. The reasons why are still clouded to Lurod, but it involved a differing of Ideologies. Lurod spoke out against the King, and for that the Company wanted to string him up, and as to not make him a societal martyr for the other colonists who felt the same way, they convicted him under the facade of being a pirate to be put to death.

He was sent to jail where he sat and waited for his own execution but he wasn't ready to die yet. He had made allies while working within the Company as well as gaining intellect, so he devised a plan. He noted one of the guards used to be an accomplice of his, named John, that he got along with quite well. Lurod chatted with John who didn't want to see Lurod die, but also didn't want to betray his nation, so Lurod started his first gamble. John would give Lurod one of the keys and he would stage a break out during a shift other than John's. He would then visit the armory where John would be only to be "Knocked" out, as to avoid any involvement, by Lurod and the other prisoners who would arm themselves and flee the town. The plan went off pretty well. They staged the breakout late at night so they would knock out the active guards, and by the time the alarm bells were rung, they were already aboard one of the East Empire Company's ships, and set sail. It was then Lurod became the captain of the ship and if the company wanted to call him a pirate fine then he would be one.

When he became the leader of his own pirate crew he learned something else that he would learn to love for the rest of his life, gambling. He already had his way with cards from when he was a child, and now he could use that to see if the cards would end up in his favor. As well he was introduced to a game called "Pirate Dice" one based mostly on predictions and chance which fit Lurod's fancy just fine. As well he started to learn the pirates cove and what it meant to be a pirate, during this stage of his life. It was a good time in his life a time without the Company, a time when he was free.

This stage of his life would last for awhile up until the heartless finally started to appear on his world. A few managed to find there way onto the ship Lurod was on, inevitably stealing his heart creating a very large and powerful heartless, but also a nobody. The nobody was quickly found by the organization who offered Lurod now Luxord a ob with them to which he accepted. They told him he had no heart now and they would help him get one, i sounded like a good deal to him

Though before we go into Luxord in depth, let's go into his nobody, as said before it was a big one that quickly left Port Royal. It found a new world and quickly morphed into something completely new and dangerous. It turned into a large, maniacal juggling monster. His heartless would not last long though as at some point Sora and co. came and defeated it very early on releasing Lurod's Heart.

Now back onto Luxord. He was brought into a new group known as Organization 13. A little more uptight than the decrepit, drunkards that most call pirates. Though it was another job for him and he treated it as such. One thing he did notice though after he was taken in was he had a new weapon. So much was his love for gambling now his weapons were cards, that he could control using a magic new to him. As well so was his love of keeping and knowing time in the past that now he was able to literally control time itself in a way. Along with that he was able to control lesser nobodies and his own personal nobodies known as gamblers. These powers were new to him, they were strange, but as time went on and he started doing missions for the Organization and so his knowledge and skill of how to use his new abilities grow.

It wasn't long before the Organization got two more members after Luxord: Larxene and Marluxia. Luxord didn't bother much with them but then the Organization got yet another new member Roxas and this one was special he could use the keyblade which by this point Luxord had learned could release hearts. This intrigued him, and he was even more so intrigued when they got a 14th member shortly after.

Still he was sent about his daily task and would find himself getting sent to a world called Wonderland a lot where an angry queen ruled over a card army. This amused the Gambler of Fate greatly as he could only wonder if the similarities between the card soldiers and his own weapon been the whole reason he was sent there. Luxord could control his own cards but the Queen's army was a whole separate deck.

When finally Luxord had learned up on what Xion was he was startled yes as, it really wasn't something expect. He was disappointed by this but left with his own cognition intact, and thus continued his work like he always had.

By the end of the events of 358/2 days Luxord's loyalty to the Organization was that of there, but not supreme. It was his only job and he would continue it, and he did continue to work with the organization this time though he was scouting out a world that brought back a lot of memories, Port Royal. He started to listen on about a curse of Aztec Gold, which admittedly during his time as a somebody he did hear about but not to a great extent, but now he was getting a more full picture.

He continued his work in Port Royal silently up until Sora and Co. stopped Barbosa. At which point he tampered with the Aztec gold, so when Sora and co. came back to Port Royal they would find an undead Jack as Luxord's work was already done. Using his knowledge of the Pirate Code he called for parley with Sora and Co. showing what he had done, before completely destroying there ship and setting loose a very large heartless. He then left the world and would not return for a short while.

Luxord waited in The World That Never Was under Xemnas's orders where he was told to stop Sora if he was to be encountered, and so he did. He waited until Sora and Co. arrived using his cards to leave the fight just between Sora/Roxas and himself, and when he lost he couldn't help but feel betrayal by the one he once knew as Roxas. And so he vanished now dead, but this would not be his end, as since his heartless was destroyed first his body reconstituted in his home, in Port Royal where he was alive again, not as Luxord anymore but as Lurod now.

A small cloud of darkness started to form on he rough dirt ground that lay just outside the main town o the world that is Port Royal. High in the sky a heart floated down slowly, but calmly into the small cloud on the ground as a bright flash of light illuminated the area and the cloud dissipated revealing a black robed man with a few facial piercings, and a very formal cut for both his hair and facial hair.

The Man quivered for a moment before he gasped for air coughing, as he groaned and opened his eyes. The look of shock filled the mans face as from his position on the ground he raised one of his black gloved hands in-front of his face. This can't be, he thought to himself, impossible.  Last the man remembered he had been cut down. Dead as a dog one might say, but now here he was alive.

The an was Lurod or as others may know him Luxord, former member of organization and the Gambler of Fate. He groaned once more as he pushed himself up into a sitting position where he rubbed his forehead remembering his supposed death. It made him feel emotions. Like he had been feeling, like he had a heart. His eyes widened as he came to the realization of what had just happened. Though he was dead, he could feel again. He had his heart back.

Lurod finally managed to push himself up into a standing position being only slightly bent over. He noticed he was wearing his old Organization cloak as he swiped dust off of his cloak. He would get to enjoy this solace for a few moment as he scanned around to see he was actually close to the docks and the town itself.

Being in such a close proximity though meant people had seen the bright light shine as he was brought back and the local militia had come to investigate. Three redcoats came bustling out in front of Lurod all of which raised their rifles at him. "Stop, don't move we saw a bright light unlike anything we have seen before and came to investigate," One of the redcoats called out his eye pointed down the barrel of his gun.

"Oh," Lurod started, "My sincerest apologies I cared not to disturb the peace, but if you will be so kind as too lower your weapons that will be quaint." A Small grin grew on Lurod's face, and the redcoats seemed un-moving.

"Wha....," One said shaking his head before proclaiming, "Come with us, under the name and crown of His Majesty King George, I place you under arrest, resist and we will fire!"

Lurod did not know is he had his powers anymore and he was basically putting all his chips on the table by this point , but that was the way he rolled. He flicked his hand as three cards formed. "Please do forgive me if you don't like the Hand you're dealt," He said before thrusting his hand out sending a stream of cards knocking over one of the guards causing him to groan on the ground. The other two only had the look of shock on there faces as one screamed, "Fire!"

With a quick thrust of his hand seconds before the guns fired a large card sprang into existence guarding against the shots before diminishing back into the ground, as Lurod nonchalantly walked forward two large cards popping out of the ground as the fixated themselves onto his arm, as he leaped forward smacking the other two guards. The last two guards fell flat as small cuts could be seen on them, now unconscious.

"I do believe I win the pot then cheers," he said before walking off into the opposite direction of the town.

The events of KH3 saw peace and light return to the worlds, and all was a perfect storybook ending … until Sora went missing! No one knows what happened to him! Now, a year and a half later, Kairi and Riku have disappeared trying to find him, while the King an' his crew are trying to round up some sort of task force to keep the darkness from reappearing.

But while this is happening history is starting to repeat itself, and the worlds are beginning to fall to a familiar darkness….




Kingdom Hearts Elite is reopening its doors with a new plot and new changes! It's a call to arms! For anyone who wants to satisfy that ol’ roleplay itch with old friends and new faces, come over and check out our Site Changes Thread for some details about what’s been in the works.

To summarize, we're planning a massive site reset to make way for a brand new plot, but if you wish to recover old characters, no worries! We have built a Site Timeline Thread incorporating key events from the last plot that you are free to use for your character.

This also means that KHE is having its (first?) Activity Check. Because it's been so long since we last sent an announcement like this (or done anything of this nature, actually), we are running the Activity Check for the entire month of September. Any accounts who do not reply in the official Activity Check Thread on or before September 30th, 2014 will be deleted. This only applies to the account itself, as all threads and character profiles made before August 28, 2014 are being archived but will remain accessible even if you don’t have an active account.

So, if you’re in the mood for a casual thread or two, or just want to say hi, come back and join us at Kingdom Hearts Elite!

Please be aware that many changes have been done in the past few days concerning the site. We are incorporating a site reset with a new plot and new faction motivations and goals, so some things may not translate 100% if you wish to bring your character back into play.

All character profiles have been archived, so if you wish to have them retrieved, please PM the admins and we will recover them for you. To help ease the transition, we have built a Site Timeline incorporating key events from the last site plot that you may wish to use to your advantage.

All characters must be reapplied for! I'm sorry about this, but it must be done!

If there are any questions, or if anything is unclear, please let us know, by replying or providing Feedback!

Due to the site reset but understanding that some events were important for character development that members may wish to keep, we have developed a site timeline incorporating some previous events that the members may wish to use for their characters. These events must be included in their character history in order for it to be valid.

Character Applications / Original Character Rules and Guidelines

  • Original characters do not need to start off here at "level one".  That said, if your original character is going to start off at a "higher level", it will need to be supported in their character history.


  • Powerful characters and abilities are acceptable within reason so long as sufficient limiting mechanisms are in place.  If the admins feel an ability/character is overpowered, you will be asked to tone down the power, increase the restrictions/limitations, or both.


  • As a general rule: No Keyblades. Keyblades will be given out to deserving members and characters, and is treated as a reward for exceptional writing and role playing.


  • Existing worlds are allowed. Any world that is defined by some other series or franchise is fair game, but a short description (three lines) of the world is required if it is not already part of Kingdom Hearts Canon.


  • Original worlds for original characters are allowed.  However, an original world will require a longer description (at least 200 words).


  • Intimate relationships with canon characters must be defined within canon. For instance, you can be one of Hans' twelve brothers in Frozen, but you cannot be Elsa and Anna's third sister. Exceptions may be made if it makes sense and you properly explain it and it does not directly contradict or influence the canon.


  • Your character may be reviewed at any time if it seems you are abusing power, meaning: your character is using abilities beyond what is described in their approved profile. Upon review, you will be asked to make a choice: cease and desist using the power beyond your character’s means as described, or resubmit your character’s application, making adjustments. Following adjustments, the character will be taken through the Peer Review System for final say. Continued abuse of power will result in your character being removed from play.


  • If your character develops a new ability, that ability will need to be reviewed and approved by the staff before you add it to their profile.  This includes spells, techniques, powers, the ability to create items, etc.  The application for new abilities can be found in


  • Keep in mind Kingdom Hearts Elite starts 3 years after KH2, and 2 years after KH3. We are making assumptions that KH3 takes place 1 year after KH2, which seems sound and reasonable if you ask us.
